- What is changing: Previously, Workspace only alerted admins when a Super Admin password was reset. The alert now covers password resets for any account with an administrator role, including delegated and custom admin roles.
- Who is affected: Google Workspace organisations with multiple admin accounts or delegated admin roles. This is an automatic improvement — no configuration is required.
- Why it matters: Admin account takeovers are a common attack path. Broader alerting means suspicious password resets on lower-level admin accounts are flagged faster, reducing the window for attackers to escalate access.

- Confirm that security alerts are being sent to an actively monitored email address.
