OzComm Network Solutions was founded in Brisbane in 1999 by David Hoedt, built around a clear market gap: business owners needed a single trusted point of contact for all IT matters. OzComm has grown entirely through word of mouth and serves B2B clients in the Brisbane South area.
David brings decades of hands-on experience including major international projects. That depth of expertise underpins everything OzComm delivers — from day-to-day IT support and cloud services through to complex network design and implementation. OzComm's clients aren't numbers; they're long-term relationships built on consistent, reliable service.
Our Background
Before founding OzComm, David spent over 10 years on major international IT projects including the Canadian national GST network, the Canadian Customs network, Senior Network Engineer for Saudi Aramco, and fibre network redesign for the new Malaysian International Airport (KLIA).
These weren't small engagements, they were large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure projects demanding precision, reliability, and the ability to deliver under pressure across complex, high-stakes environments. Working across Canada, Saudi Arabia, and Malaysia gave David exposure to enterprise-grade network design and implementation at a scale few practitioners encounter. That international pedigree is the foundation on which OzComm's technical capability and standards are built.
