Microsoft ended support for Office 2021 and for Windows 11 24H2 (Home and Pro editions) on 13 October. Your computers will keep working, but they will stop receiving security fixes, which leaves them exposed over time.

• What it is: Office 2021 (retail and volume licence) no longer gets bug fixes, security updates or support. Windows 11 24H2 Home and Pro has reached the end of servicing.
• Who is affected: Businesses still running Office 2021 or Windows 11 24H2 Home or Pro. Enterprise and Education editions of 24H2 stay supported until 12 October 2027.
• Related change: Microsoft 365 Apps on Windows 10 and Windows Server 2022 are now limited to security updates only, with no new features.
• The risk: Unpatched software is a common way for criminals to get into a business network.
• What to do: Check which Office and Windows versions your staff are using, and plan the move to Microsoft 365 Apps and the current Windows 11 release.

We recommend booking in an upgrade review with us so the changeover can be planned before it becomes urgent. Source: Office Watch.
