Google has rolled out a batch of new AI and automation features across Workspace this week, aimed at cutting down manual work for small teams.

• What it is: New features include Google Pics (AI image generation and editing), AI-generated video summaries in Google Vids from existing Docs, PDFs and Word files, a Gemini co-presenter suggestion tool in Meet, and four new no-code automation steps in Workspace Studio Flows (move or copy Drive files, send a Chat reply, reply to email).
• Who is affected: Business users on eligible Workspace plans; availability may vary by plan tier and rollout schedule.
• The risk: None directly, but new AI features often ship switched on by default, which is worth reviewing against your data policies.
