NBN infrastructure carrying services to Brisbane and several regional Queensland exchanges is undergoing planned overnight repair work tonight, which may cause brief outages.

• What it is: A backhaul carrier is replacing a splice enclosure affecting nbn points of interconnect at Woolloongabba, Ipswich, Caboolture, Petrie, Aspley, Toowoomba, Bundaberg and Rockhampton.
• Who is affected: Businesses and residents connected through these exchanges, including much of Brisbane's inner south and surrounding regional Queensland.
• When: Tonight, 18 August, 11pm to 7am AEST. Outages of up to eight hours are possible during the window.
• What to do: No action is needed. If your internet or phone service is unavailable overnight, this planned work is the likely cause and service should restore by 7am.
