Ubiquiti has released urgent software updates after discovering critical security vulnerabilities across its UniFi product range, including UniFi Connect, UniFi Talk, UniFi Access, UniFi Protect and UniFi OS. One flaw carries the maximum severity rating and could let an attacker on your network take control of affected devices.

• What it is: A set of critical vulnerabilities, including an improper access control flaw in UniFi Connect, that could allow an attacker with network access to run commands on UniFi hardware.
• Who is affected: Any business using Ubiquiti UniFi routers, switches, access points, cameras, or door access control systems.
• What the risk is: An attacker inside your network could take control of network infrastructure, security cameras, or physical access control.
• What to do: Update UniFi OS and all connected UniFi applications to the latest version as soon as possible. If you are not sure how to check firmware versions, your IT provider can confirm this for you.
